From left, Supervisor Pat Herrity (R-Springfield), Mount Vernon Fairfax County School Board representative Karen Corbett Sanders and Supervisor Dan Storck (D-Mount Vernon) lay a wreath at George Washington’s tomb on Presidents Day. In addition to the paying of respect to America’s first Commander in Chief, the leaders visited the slave memorial and took in the Mount Vernon estate grounds.
