The City of Fairfax School Board will accept comments regarding renaming Lanier Middle School through Thursday, Sept. 10. Visit https://www.cityoffairfaxschools.org/ and click on the “Lanier Middle School Name” button, or email LanierComment@fairfaxva.gov.
Comments are accepted through the website, email, or mail. Residents may also speak at a meeting set for next Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 5 p.m. The School Board is slated to vote on the new name at its Sept. 14 meeting.
