Parent Sokrachany Ngim, her son Sidh, and daughter Noria, pose in front of the Owls Pre-K table. The Owls class had fun learning about dinosaurs, fossils, and paleontology. They created their own paleontologist uniforms to wear and made fossils and bones for the class fossil museum.

Christ Presbyterian Preschool in Fairfax hosted Family Friday on April 12 to cap off the Week of the Young Child. It is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to spotlight early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities. Family Friday focused on engaging and celebrating families at the heart of supporting their youngest learners. NAEYC applauds family members’ role as young children’s first and most important teachers. Special guests were Del. Karrie Delaney (D-67) and Ilryong Moon, Fairfax County School Board Vice Chairman and Member-at-Large. Other themes celebrated during the week were Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, and Artsy Thursday.
